Shellac Politure is one of the most valuable techniques of surface treatment of wood that originated in the French court during the reign of King Louis XIV. Shell's polish gives the wood a new dimension, highlighting its beauty, depth and fineness. It creates a perfectly smooth surface that highlights the natural texture of the wood or the richness of intarsia when polished to a high gloss while attracting warm honey. The pearl polish is a resin made of females of white lacquer (India, Thailand), which dissolves in alcohol, optionally mixed with other resins that give the varnish the desired properties. The lacquer is relatively hard and durable, it resists abrasion, the coating is very thin, it is easy to repair over the lifetime, it has excellent resonance properties, it is suitable not only for furniture but also for musical instruments. It can not be sprayed, it is only applied by hand with a circular motion called so-called wool cloth, covered with linen or other natural substance.
